What to check before you buy

• Glass type: borosilicate handles temperature changes better than standard glass.
• Lids: many lids are still plastic. Look for bamboo, silicone or steel if that matters to you.
• Oven, microwave and freezer use: check each part, not just the base.
• Set sizes: pick shapes that match how you meal prep.
