Glass Air Fryers

Glass air fryers cook with the same hot air as a normal air fryer, but your food sits in a glass bowl instead of a coated metal basket. You can watch it cook, and there is no nonstick coating touching your food.

What to check before you buy

• Bowl material: borosilicate or tempered glass, and whether any rack or plate has a coating.
• Capacity: 4 to 5 quarts suits 1 to 3 people. Families need 6 quarts or two zones.
• Max temperature: 400°F is fine for most food. 450°F gives crispier results.
• Weight and cleaning: glass is heavier. Check if the bowl is dishwasher safe.
• Counter space: measure height and width before ordering.
